ST.LOUIS MD PROGRAM
CLINICAL CLERKSHIPS

During the third and fourth years of the Doctor of Medicine (MD) program students will complete clinical clerkships, allowing them to experience first-hand working with patients under the supervision of practicing medical professionals. PHSU St. Louis is proud to partner with Mercy Health to provide these critical experiences to our students.

The third year provides the core clinical clerkships, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Family Medicine, Psychiatry, and Surgery. The fourth year complements these core clinical experiences with Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Radiology, Surgical Subspecialties, and Primary Care Selective. Finally, five months of elective rotations provide additional clinical experiences in several subspecialty fields.
