Why Therapy?
Life sometimes moves at a faster pace than we anticipated and during these times having someone to help navigate the journey can be helpful. Managing life stress and nurturing one’s mental health is an evolving process that requires steady work, particularly during difficult periods in life. As counselors, we will support students by building resiliency through incorporating your strengths and equipping you with additional skills to reach the desired changes you seek.
We strive to help you be the best version of yourself.
Meet Counselor Arriell Pinkston
As a clinician, I incorporate life experience and therapeutic dynamics to help clients navigate life struggles. Embracing an eclectic view of therapy, I believe the path to achieving your goal(s) can be reached through a variety of therapeutic disciplines. I incorporate CBT, narrative therapy, and insight-oriented theories that value individual differences and diversity with the goal of identifying and developing personal strengths that will enhance intra-personal growth.
I’m an avid outdoors person. I enjoy hiking, camping, and fly fishing. I’m a sports junkie which means if I’m not watching baseball, football, or basketball I’m coaching baseball or playing competitive softball. Another passion of mine is food (Yes, I’m a FOODIE), Lol. You will possibly bump into me at a restaurant around town as I routinely visit a variety of eateries in the St. Louis area. I’ve had the privilege of serving for eight years in the U.S. ARMY and I believe in living life to the fullest.
