- Year 3: Intervention (21 Credits)
- Year 4: Elective Professional Courses (17 Credits)
- Year 5: Clinical Internship (2,000+ hours)

Focusing on clinical skills and culture, students are better prepared to take on the challenges of evolving cultural and technological environments. Unlike traditional PhD training programs, the PsyD program at PHSU St. Louis emphasizes the development of practitioner skills.
CAREER OUTLOOK
It is projected that by 2025*, there will be a shortage of 250,000 behavioral health professionals, further impacting the 95 local counties (of 114) in Missouri where a shortage is already impacting community needs.
